We sail by boat through the Velebit Channel, we pass under two Maslenica bridges into the Novigrad Sea. Entering the Zrmanja canyon, we stop at the entrance to the canyon in a small bay where you can swim. After that we sail through the canyon where you can see Pueblo Platou, the place where the film about Winnetou was shot. We continue sailing towards the Zrmanja waterfalls, all the way you will be surrounded by 200 m high cliffs, enjoy the unique views of this karst landscape and see the remains of some historical fortifications. We pass through the town of Obrovac which is located on the river Zrmanja 12 km from its confluence with the sea. We come to Jankovića buk, a waterfall, where we have a break for swimming, there you can see also the remains of former mills that reveal the once important mill tradition of this waterfall. We sail back through the canyon into the Novigrad sea, then we have another break for swimming in a beautiful bay near the town of Vinjerac. Return to the port of Starigrad at cca 15 hours.
